We are a host location for the Needle Exchange Program.  The Needle Exchange Program is a service of the Health Unit and the community for local substance users.  There are many sites where new supplies (needles, sharps containers, and other safe injection equipment) can be obtained, and used supplies (needles and cookers only) are returned for disposal.  This service assists in the education of community members that Injection Drug Use is best addressed as a Public Health issue and not a legal one.  For more detailed information and other locations please contact 1-800-267-2803, ext. 237.
